1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Seamreach collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses our website and app (the “Service”).

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
  • Chart and library content — the people, companies, org charts, photos, and logos you create or upload.
  • Imported content — when you use CSV or website import, we process the file or page you point us at, and store the people, photos, and brand details it produces in your library.
  • Usage data — basic technical information (device, browser, general activity) used to keep the Service reliable and secure.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Power AI-assisted features (CSV hierarchy inference, website import, auto-arrange).
  • Generate exports (PDF, PNG, PowerPoint) and view-only share links you create.
  • Communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.

4. AI processing

Some features (CSV hierarchy inference, website import, and auto-arrange) send relevant text — names, titles, and page content — to Anthropic's Claude API to produce results. We don't send more than is needed for the feature to work, and this processing is used only to generate your result, not to train models on your data.

5. Sharing your information

We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run the Service on our behalf (hosting, database, storage, and AI processing), and only to the extent needed to provide it. If you create a view-only share link for a chart, anyone with that link can view the chart's contents until you revoke it.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a chart, person, or company, it's removed from your library. If you delete your account, we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it by law.

7. Your choices

You can access, edit, or delete your charts and library records at any time from within the app. You can revoke any share link from the chart's Share panel. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and row-level data isolation — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage using a strong, unique password.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
